HOW WE TACKLED THE CHALLENGE

Beautiful contemporary kitchen for a National Geographic photographer who had been searching for someone who could achieve the contemporary look she was seeking.

  • One challenge with this kitchen was making room for an island without the added expense of an addition.  We accomplished this by removing walls and cantilevering two feet off back of house.

  • The client really wanted to work with exotic dark cabinets but the space was small so we put in glass doors to bring in as much light as possible, making the kitchen appear bigger and open up the view to outdoor pool area.
